RAIN STOPS PLAY!!!!!!!!!

This year's Fixture List has been thrown into turmoil as a result of inclement weather.

Latest casualties were our Autumn Meeting and the Cuthbertson Cup. The latter is a competition whereby the four clubs which make up the East Division (East Lothian, Stirling & Clackmannanshire, Fife and Midlothian) field a team of four juniors. Morning play comprises of singles. The winners in the morning go through to the final in the afternoon: the others play a consolation round of foursomes.

The competition is held annually at each county in the East Division by rotation. This year's competition was originally due to be played at Haddington in April, but had to be postponed on the day owing to extreme weather conditions (including hailstones!!)

A revised date of Saturday 23rd August was once again rained off!! A final decision has yet to be reached as to how to proceed, so watch this  space!
